How to choose the right blog theme
Gone are the days when you had to pay a web-master to host your site for you. Although there’s nothing like a high-quality site for your business, small or large, a blog can serve just as well. There are plenty of designs and themes out there, so look for one that fits your company image down to the ground.
Follow these rules:
1) What kind of image are you trying to project? In other words, do you want customers to think of you as stylish, business-driven or more casual and approachable? Deciding this is critical as everything hinges on what a reader first sees.
2) What pages do you need? If you own a company and it’s relatively new, you may wish to use the About Me part of the page to tell the world all about where you are at and where you came from. If you’re more established then perhaps this won’t be an issue. Most importantly of all, choose a design which doesn’t cram in too much text. Make sure the viewing experience is enjoyable.
3) Does the theme you like have any extra options? It’s always good to go into the interface before you start adding content. That way you won’t need to change your mind later on.
4) Don’t panic if you decide to change your mind. Most themes – like with Wordpress blogs – allow you to change the theme even after months of adding content. You won’t need london it support to come and help you, and you get a free space which you can update. It doesn’t get much better than that now, does it?
