Poor Marketing

The articles and materials that advise you what to do are so many that you would have plenty of choice if you want to do internet marketing. However, there are a few things that you might not want to do - they create bad reputation, they are repulsive, they have no advertising meaning and carry no potential for success. Avoid them, try to be more tolerant towards future customers or people within the area.

  • Do not be too persistent - if you have difficulties with advertising an independent financial advisor company to a particular customer, do not be persistent with your emails, with your requests for need of information and so on. This repulses the client, and even worse - makes him talk to other people creating an anti-marketing campaign against your business.
  • Do not contact the competition - if you are competing against a business, carefully review the people that you are going to target as recipients of your marketing materials - if you send such material to the competition, they can easily see the best of your campaign and implement it in their own. They might also research your flaws and improve them for their own benefit.
  • Do not target particular group of people - in other words, make sure you advertise and conduct marketing among various social backgrounds, nationalities, ethnicity and even countries. This ensures familiarity among more people and a greater option for further success of your marketing strategy.
  • Do not develop a lengthy campaign - more information and more details tend to bore people. And this is the least you want. When making marketing materials always use the least of information but the most of its value. In other worlds, include valuable information and do not waste the time of the potential client of the particular target group.
