Search engine optimization will help you enjoy a high page rank and will give you good visibility on search engines. However, it is not going to improve the quality of your product. You may enjoy high volume of visitors to your website because of good SEO. However, people will pay only when they enjoy good value for money.
When they do not enjoy good value, you will automatically fall out of favor. Will it help if you are at the top rank of each and every search engine? Well, to presume that you can stay at the top of search engines without satisfying your customers is foolishness. Such an approach presumes that search engines can be manipulated through search engine optimization alone. Let us take a hypothetical example to explain the issue properly.
Let us presume that an online seller of 4×4 cars is a fraud. Does that mean one can survive the competition and stay on top of the search engine by using SEO tactics? Obviously not. The fact that one is a fraud will obviously work to your disadvantage. In the same way, the fact that you do not satisfy your customers will, sooner or later, affect you negatively.
If you are trying to do business for the long term, you will have to provide good value for money. Search engine optimization will work only when you mix it with top quality service and a holistic approach towards business.
